States the subset(s) for which the MEDLINE record was created. Most citations are from journals indexed for MEDLINE as part of "Index Medicus", indicated by the citation subset value "IM". But some MEDLINE citations are created as part of specialized topic or historical collections. A current list of non-IM journals and their CitationSubset values is available here.
